Submit

Issue #1 is ON NEWSSTANDS, and issue #2 is about to go on its merry way to the printer. We are, however, still considering poems for #3 and #4. In all instances we prefer electronic submissions, but if you must send via post, please send to the address listed below and BE SURE TO INCLUDE AN SASE.  Please send any poems to knockoutpoetry@gmail.com (for Brett) and to knockoutlit@gmail.com (for Jeremy). When sending electronic submissions, please put "poetry submission" followed by your name and the date of your submission in the subject line.

Please note that we do NOT accept previously published poems. If it was published on the Internet or in print, we will not consider it for publication. Please send only unpublished work, send 4-6 unpublished poems (more and we'll punch you in the head if we see you), and send them in Microsoft Word.  We cannot open files in Word Perfect, and frankly, we don't really know what a Microsoft Works document is.  Translations are welcome, as long as you have permission of the author (if they are still kicking) and we'll gladly take a look at translations of authors who are not (still kicking, that is.) We're particularly interested in translations in German, Chinese, Scandinavian languages, and translations from the Middle East. Finally, we don't pay in actual money. If your work is selected for publication, we'll give you two copies of the issue in which your work appears. (Sorry, we're kinda poor.)
