Great news: Knockout is open to submissions once again! As the fourth issue is full and in the works (look for it this summer), all submissions will be considered for issue #5. Please note that we have changed our submission policy. We will no longer accept postal submissions. Instead, we will only accept submissions through our online submission manager, Submishmash.
To our knowledge, we've responded to all of the submissions we received in our Google accounts. If there was an outstanding issue or we didn't respond, please don't hesitate to contact us at knockoutpoetry AT gmail.com. (In retrospect, Google mail is not the best way to keep track of submissions.) We're damn confident that the new system will help us stay organized and make our response times faster.
You can access our submission manager here.
Other than that, our submission policy is pretty similar. As always, we're looking for quality work in pretty much any form. We like formal poetry and free verse, prose poems and short shorts, and pretty much everything in between. We're primarily looking for poetry, but we're open to short non-fiction and fiction pieces too (three pages, tops). As always, Knockout is as GLBT-friendly as ever.
