KNOCKOUT MAKES FIRST DONATION TO THE VALENTINO ACHAK DENG FOUNDATION | POSTED 3.30.08

We're happy to announce that KNOCKOUT has made its first cash donation to the Valentino Achak Deng Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving educational opportunities for those in war-torn Southern Sudan. Currently, the project is at work on a school and other facilities for the local residents, and KNOCKOUT is proud to assist this effort with a donation of nearly $700.  In case you don't know, we're donating half of the money we receive from our first issue to the Foundation.  This is only our first donation, and the amount of our future donations depends on how many more copies of #1 we sell.

REST IN PEACE, JONATHAN WILLIAMS | POSTED 3.30.08
