Knockout Literary Magazine is proud to announce its inaugural poetry contest!  The contest fee is $5.  Entries are due by August 31st, 2008.  Send three poems to knockoutcontest@gmail.com and click the button above to pay via paypal.  Or, send a check to the address listed above. The winner will be announced July 31st and will receive a $100 gift certificate to Powell's bookstore (redeemable in person, or online at www.powells.com).  The winning poem will also appear in a forthcoming issue of KNOCKOUT.  All poems will be considered for publication.  Our guest judge is James Bertolino, a widely-published poet and fiction writer.  In the spirit of fairness, students of James Bertolino are not eligible to enter.
